“Ajò” means “let’s go” in Sardinian. It’s what friends say to each other before heading to the beach, a hiking trail or a village festival. That’s where Ajò Sardegna comes from.
Why Ajò Sardegna exists
Look up things to do in Sardinia today and you’ll mostly find big international platforms that keep a large share of the price and put distance between you and the people who run the experience. We want the opposite: direct contact with fishermen, skippers, guides, wineries and craftspeople, zero commission, and information written by people who really know the island.
What you’ll find here
- Experiences run by local operators, organised by town, area and type of activity.
- Festivals, feasts and events across the island.
- Pages designed to help you choose, in five languages.
Made in Sardinia
Ajò Sardegna is a Deck One project, based in Sassari, and is built by Pro Motion, a communications and marketing agency that has worked with Sardinian businesses – many of them in tourism – since 2004. Operators pay a small flat subscription, the same for everyone: that keeps the portal independent and free for travellers.
