Sunset Dinner on a Sailboat off Tharros
Four hours on a sailboat from Oristano: sail toward Capo San Marco and have dinner at anchor off Tharros as the sun sets. From 4 to 8 people.
Sinis Yachting’s sunset dinner on a sailboat is designed for those who want a different kind of evening: you depart at 17:30 from the port of Torre Grande, sail toward Tharros and Capo San Marco and drop anchor in the bay facing the archaeological site for the aperitif and dinner, as the sun sinks into the sea. You return to port around 21:30.
What the evening is like
The boat takes 4 to 8 people: there’s room to sit comfortably in the cockpit and enjoy the changing light on the ruins of Tharros and the lighthouse on the cape. Aperitif and dinner are served on board, at anchor, in the calm waters of the bay.
What’s included
- Sailing with a skipper.
- Aperitif and dinner on board.
Meeting point and what to bring
Trips depart from the Torre Grande marina in Oristano, at Sa Mardini, a few minutes from Cabras and the Sinis Peninsula. A Sinis Yachting skipper is always on board. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a sweatshirt or windbreaker for the trip back, and light-soled shoes that won’t mark the deck.
The program depends on the sea: when the mistral blows, the skipper picks the most sheltered coves on the Sinis coast.
