Sailing Aperitif at Tharros from Oristano
Three hours on a sailboat from Oristano to Tharros and Capo San Marco, with two swim stops and an aperitif on board. Morning, afternoon or sunset, maximum 9 people.
The sailing aperitif at Tharros is the easiest way to discover the Sinis coast from the sea: three hours of sailing from the port of Torre Grande to the archaeological site of Tharros and Capo San Marco, with two swim stops and an aperitif served on board. The group is small, maximum 9 people.
The route
Once out of port, you sail southwest, with the columns and ruins of Tharros appearing on the tip of the Sinis. You round Capo San Marco, with its lighthouse on the cliff, and stop to swim at Cala del Faro and Cala d’Argilla, where the aperitif is served. If the sea doesn’t allow it, the skipper chooses other sheltered coves.
Three departure times
- Morning, departing at 9:30.

Times may vary with the season: confirm them with Sinis Yachting when you book.
What’s included
- Sailing with a skipper.
- Aperitif on board.
Meeting point and what to bring
Trips depart from the Torre Grande marina in Oristano, at Sa Mardini, a few minutes from Cabras and the Sinis Peninsula. A Sinis Yachting skipper is always on board. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a sweatshirt or windbreaker for the trip back, and light-soled shoes that won’t mark the deck.
The program depends on the sea: when the mistral blows, the skipper picks the most sheltered coves on the Sinis coast.
