Two Days and One Night on a Sailboat in the Sinis: Mal di Ventre or Tharros

Sleeping on a boat, rocked gently at anchor, and waking up with the sea all around you: that’s the experience of Sinis Yachting’s two-day, one-night trips. On board the Beneteau Oceanis 34, with three double cabins, a bathroom and shower, there are maximum 6 guests.

The itineraries

• Night at Mal di Ventre (recommended): Tharros, Cala d’Argilla, snorkeling over the Seu wreck, Maimoni beach, the night at the island and the return along the cliffs of Su Tingiosu. Aperitif, lunch, dinner, breakfast and a farewell aperitif.
• Night at Tharros with a candlelit dinner (recommended): set off in the late afternoon, sail around Capo San Marco with a swim at Cala d’Argilla and sleep in the bay of Tharros.
• One night in port and two cruises: one day in the Sinis and one on the Costa Verde, with the night at the port of Torre Grande.
• With more time, also Bosa and Buggerru, spending the night in port or at anchor off the beach.

If the mistral is blowing, the night at Mal di Ventre moves to the more sheltered bay of Mandriola.

Meeting point and what to bring

Trips depart from the Torre Grande marina in Oristano, at Sa Mardini, a few minutes from Cabras and the Sinis Peninsula. A Sinis Yachting skipper is always on board. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a sweatshirt or windbreaker for the trip back, and light-soled shoes that won’t mark the deck.

The program depends on the sea: when the mistral blows, the skipper picks the most sheltered coves on the Sinis coast.
