A rare «corridor» nuraghe, among the oldest on the island, built on a basalt spur and open to visitors. Roman-era pottery was found nearby.

History
The area has been settled since the Neolithic, as rock-cut tombs, proto-nuraghi and nuraghi show; tradition says the village grew out of the old settlement of sa Idda Ezza, home to the Chighentolu giants' tomb. In the Middle Ages it belonged to the Giudicato (medieval Sardinian kingdom) of Torres, then to the Malaspina family and from 1308 to Arborea. From the 15th century it was an Aragonese fief, in the 18th century it joined the Marquisate of Planargia with Flussio, and in 1839 it was freed from feudal rule. Since 2003 it has been in the province of Oristano.
